Rosebank College, the Independent Institute of Education (The IIE) seeks an experienced lecturer to teach postgraduate and module-specific courses. You will track module progress, prepare assessments, and engage with the Central Academic Team to ensure academic quality and student success.

The role requires advanced qualifications, lecturing experience, and ability to work with digital platforms. Classes run during standard daytime hours with opportunities for academic development.

Competenze

• Master's degree with a research methodology component and a research dissertation/project in the discipline.
• Honours degree with a research methodology component and dissertation as part of NQF 9 qualification.
• Lecturing experience in research methods and related areas, preferable.
• Experience supervising postgraduate research proposals and projects.

Mansioni

• Deliver lectures and engage students per module pacers.
• Manage academic resources and consult with the Information Centre.
• Update learning management system and provide student feedback.
• Prepare students for assessments and develop assessments with Central Academic Team.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions; escalate where needed.
• Participate in academic meetings across faculties and review module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students within assigned modules.
• Complete required academic professional development per cycle.
