Job summary

Rosebank College, part of The Independent Institute of Education (IIE) and affiliated with ADvTECH, seeks an experienced lecturer to teach IT/IS modules and support student success.

The role involves delivering lectures, updating LMS, assessing students, and contributing to academic governance within a dynamic higher‑education environment. Preference for candidates with relevant postgrad credentials and industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT or related discipline.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience in IT governance or digital transformation.
• 2–3 years lecturing or formal tutoring.
• 1–3 years industry experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students per module requirements.
• Manage resources including academic materials and consult the Information Centre.
• Update the learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments and identify at‑risk students.
• Attend and participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on, review, and analyse student module results and monitor at‑risk students.
• Complete academic professional development interventions per academic cycle.
