Job summary

MRI Software’s Lease Administration team in Cape Town, South Africa, seeks a Senior Lease Administrator with 4-6+ years of experience in lease or real estate operations. The role focuses on lease data accuracy, reporting, and client liaison across international environments.

The position offers a hybrid work model (3 days from home) and requires collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure timely, accurate lease data management and high service levels.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of experience in lease administration or related real estate operations.
• Strong understanding of lease data management, reporting and reconciliations.
• Exposure to international clients or multi-region processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 and/or FASB 842 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate lease and sublease data, including data entry, validation and reconciliations of related financial information.
• Prepare recurring client reports, lease schedules and financial summaries for portfolio reporting.
• Review landlord statements, operating cost recoveries and service charge reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to improve reporting quality and data accuracy.
