Job summary

MRI Software Cape Town is seeking an experienced Lease Administration Team Lead to guide a team of Lease Administrators through the full lifecycle for commercial property clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will partner with the Lease Administration Manager on training, process improvements, and client engagement, with duties spanning escalation, compliance, and performance tracking during UK business hours.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Lease Administration experience.
• 4+ years of people management and team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial lease administration principles and terminology.
• Experience working with clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with lease platforms such as ProLease/PMX/Qube is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Lease Administrators.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and performance discussions.
• Monitor workloads and allocate work.
• Mentor and coach team members; identify training opportunities.
• Act as senior escalation point for lease-related queries.
• Review and sign off team work; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and quality standards.
• Engage with clients in meetings and manage relationships.
• Support system implementations and process improvements.
