National Bargaining Council for the Private Security Sector is seeking a skilled Labour Relations professional to supervise enforcement activities, interpret collective agreements, and lead negotiations with employer representatives. The role requires strong analytical abilities, leadership, and a solid grasp of labour legislation.

Formación

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Post-matric qualification in Labour Relations Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Law or HRM.
• 3-5 years' experience in Industrial/Labour Relations, Labour Law, HRM.
• 2-3 years' experience in Collective Bargaining or Labour Law Enforcement is an advantage.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise designated agents’ activities through guidance and monitoring.
• Develop action plans with designated agents to ensure the implementation of the strategic plan.
• Plan and organise daily, weekly, and monthly compliance and enforcement activities.
• Compile and consolidate team’s activity and reports.
• Promote, monitor, and enforce compliance with all Collective Agreements and jurisdiction.
• Interpret all clauses of the Collective Agreements and issue compliance orders to non-compliant companies.
• Calculate amounts owing to Council and issue compliance orders.
• Negotiate, draft and sign settlement agreements with employer representatives.
• Lead enforcement cases referred to arbitration and prosecute non-compliant employers.
• Conduct routine inspections and issue findings reports.
• Explain inspection reports to stakeholders to avoid non-compliance.
• Receive and investigate complaints for enforcement.
• Execute legal documents such as compliance orders, notice of arbitration, and awards.
• Attend to inquiries related to the Council and its Collective Agreements.
• Provide training and educating employer representatives and employees on the Council and its agreements.
• Promote stakeholder relationships and maintain professional conduct.
• Prepare and submit weekly route plans and activity reports.
• Be the custodian of the Council’s image and reputation.
• Cost centre management and control of items related to the function.
