Job summary

Fidelity Services Group seeks an experienced Labour Relations/IR specialist to guide management and staff on labour matters while ensuring legal compliance. The role covers union engagement, wage negotiations, CCMA arbitrations, and reporting across the region.

You will advise on ER policies, manage grievances, retrenchment processes, and liaise with external attorneys. Strong MS Office skills and travel readiness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and extensive IR/HR experience.
• 5 years relevant work experience, including unionized environments.
• Experience in CCMA/Bargaining Council arbitrations with a track record.
• Handling of union issues and wage negotiations at multiple levels.
• Advanced MS Office literacy (Word, Excel, Email).
• Willingness to travel with reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Manage CCMA/Arbitration matters and provide legal drafting support.
• Report monthly, weekly, and daily HR/IR statistics to stakeholders.
• Advise management on ER issues, discipline, grievances and policy adherence.
• Coordinate union relations, meetings, and communications to promote a healthy climate.
• Support retrenchment, structural changes, and benchmarking activities.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and internal/external correspondence.
