About the Role Our client, a forward-thinking recruitment consultancy, is looking for an experienced Senior IT Recruitment Specialist to join their fully remote team. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional who excels in identifying and attracting top-tier IT talent for demanding technical roles. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding complex technical requirements and developing strategic sourcing plans to conducting in-depth interviews and managing offer negotiations. You will play a key role in helping our client's partners build robust technology teams by sourcing highly skilled software developers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and other IT professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of senior and niche IT roles.
• Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber IT professionals, including passive candidates.
• Conduct comprehensive technical screening and behavioural interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with IT professionals and key clients.
• Provide expert advice to clients on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability in the IT sector.
• Manage the offer process, including negotiation and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
• Continuously research and stay updated on new technologies, IT trends, and the competitive talent landscape.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on recruitment strategies and delivery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Requirements

• Extensive proven experience as an IT Recruiter or Technical Recruiter, with a focus on senior-level placements.
• Deep understanding of various IT domains, technologies, and common tech stacks.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing niche technical roles (e.g., AI/ML Engineers, DevOps specialists, Cybersecurity analysts).
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and thrive in a fully remote environment.
• Proficiency in using advanced sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and professional networking sites.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand client business needs.
• Must have a suitable home office setup with reliable internet connectivity to support this remote role, serving clients in Mahikeng, North West, ZA and beyond.
