Placements24 is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives in Richards Bay. You will oversee IT projects from initiation through delivery, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and integrations.

Collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, you will ensure projects achieve goals, stay on budget, and finish on schedule while upholding governance and security standards across the programme.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience.
• Experience with infrastructure upgrades, ERP implementations, or cybersecurity initiatives.
• Familiarity with PMP or Agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of IT projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and third-party partners to meet objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate project status and milestones to senior management and stakeholders.
