Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee a critical infrastructure upgrade project based in Centurion. You will coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and end-users to ensure a seamless rollout and successful implementation of new IT systems and network enhancements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience managing IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server deployments, and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience with network upgrades, server deployments, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and PM software.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize IT infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Acquire and manage project resources, including internal staff, contractors, and external vendors.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and technical specifications.
• Manage communication between project team members, vendors, and company stakeholders throughout the project duration.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
