Job summary

Placements24 in Randburg is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee critical IT infrastructure initiatives, including network upgrades, data center management, and cloud migrations. You will plan, execute, and deliver complex projects, coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure IT security and governance are upheld.

PMP or ITIL certification is highly advantageous, and experience in hybrid work environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• PMP or ITIL certification is highly advantageous.
• 7+ years of experience in project management with a focus on IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of complex IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for infrastructure initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure project success.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry best practices.
