Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a Principal Recruitment Consultant to lead its IT Infrastructure and Cloud practice. This fully remote role is based in Pietermaritzburg and allows you to work from anywhere in South Africa while engaging with clients in the KZN region.

You will manage complex mandates, build senior-level relationships, source niche IT talent, and provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition. A strong track record in cloud technologies and DevOps is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of recruitment consultancy experience with IT infrastructure and cloud focus.
• Proven track record of placing senior IT professionals.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking.
• Excellent business development and senior-level client relationship skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-level IT infrastructure and cloud recruitment mandates.
• Develop and maintain strategic client relationships at senior levels.
• Proactively source top IT talent using advanced techniques.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment process and mentor junior consultants.
