Placements24 is seeking a Senior Remote Project Manager to lead critical IT infrastructure initiatives from anywhere in South Africa. You will plan, execute, and close complex deployments while aligning with business goals and security standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience, focused on infrastructure projects.
Proven track record delivering large-scale IT deployments.
Expertise with Agile, Waterfall, ITIL methodologies.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, and ServiceNow.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL Foundation or CISSP are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects including network upgrades, server deployments, and cloud migrations.
Develop detailed project plans, define scope, manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Establish and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
Oversee procurement and implementation of IT hardware, software, and services.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned.
