Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Instructional Designer to join a fully remote team. You will lead end-to-end design of online courses, from needs analysis to deployment, collaborating with SMEs and ensuring engaging learning experiences for a global client base.

The role requires 6+ years in instructional design, advanced proficiency with Storyline 360 and Captivate, and a strong grounding in adult learning theories. Remote work offers flexibility and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in instructional design with proven e-learning track record.
• Expert proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Storyline 360, Captivate).
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories (ADDIE, SAM) and BD & design principles.
• Experience with multimedia development (graphics, audio, video editing).
• Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems is a plus; portfolio required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, interactive e-learning courses using authoring tools (Storyline, Captivate).
• Conduct learning needs analyses and define clear objectives and outcomes.
• Create engaging course content (text, graphics, audio, video, interactivity).
• Develop assessment strategies and tools to measure learning effectiveness.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Manage multiple instructional design projects with timely delivery.
• Stay current with trends in instructional design and e-learning technologies.
• Provide guidance to junior instructional designers.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and propose improvements.
