Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to join a fully remote team. You will conceptualize, design, and develop engaging training for professionals, translating complex information into effective e-learning modules.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, a strong portfolio, and expertise with industry tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate. You will collaborate with SMEs, apply ADDIE/SAM models, and ensure accessibility and quality.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years as an Instructional Designer with a strong, demonstrable portfolio.
• Experience designing and developing e-learning courses with industry-standard tools.
• In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and evaluation models.
• Excellent project management, organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for collaboration with SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, learner-centered instructional materials for various delivery methods.
• Collaborate with SMEs to analyze needs, define objectives, and gather content.
• Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, assessments, job aids, and facilitator guides.
• Utilize Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and multimedia software for modules.
• Ensure materials align with branding, quality standards, and accessibility (WCAG).
• Evaluate learning solutions using feedback and performance data for improvement.
• Manage multiple projects, meeting timelines and requirements.
• Stay current with trends in instructional design and learning technologies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior instructional designers when needed.
