Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a commercially focused Customer Service Centre Manager to lead its internal sales and customer-service function in a hands-on management role. You will coach the internal team, support external sales representatives and ensure accurate, efficient service throughout the sales and order fulfilment process.

The role requires strong leadership, commercial analysis and a proven track record in sales management, with Syspro and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five years' experience in a sales management position.
• Proven experience as an Internal Sales Manager, Customer Service Centre Manager, Sales Support Manager or similar role.
• Practical Syspro experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Proven understanding of gross profit, margins, pricing and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach and motivate the internal sales and customer-service team.
• Oversee daily internal sales operations and ensure effective communication between internal and external sales teams.
• Support the achievement of monthly sales targets and business objectives.
• Monitor sales performance against budget and identify performance gaps.
• Measure and improve quotation-to-order conversion rates.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing customer calls and service levels.
• Manage customer enquiries, quotations, incoming orders and aftersales support.
• Ensure customers are kept informed regarding orders, back orders, deliveries and outstanding matters.
