Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for infrastructure projects in Upington. You will oversee large-scale civil works from planning to handover, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure projects meet budget, schedule and quality targets.

This hybrid role requires on-site leadership, strong stakeholder management with clients, contractors and regulators, and a proven track record of delivering complex builds on time and within budget.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.

Aufgaben

• Manage all phases of infrastructure projects, from planning and design through to construction and handover.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Oversee and coordinate all project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Prepare regular project progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage change orders and contract administration.
• Resolve project-related issues and conflicts effectively.
