Placements24 is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for our client in Polokwane to lead design, development and management of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water reticulation and stormwater systems.

You will oversee technical aspects, ensure regulatory compliance within Limpopo, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with authorities and contractors. This role emphasizes sustainable development and community improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in municipal infrastructure design and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software and GIS applications relevant to infrastructure planning.
• Experience in contract administration and supervising construction.
• Strong understanding of municipal planning processes and environmental legislation in South Africa.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and planning of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water supply, and sanitation systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents for infrastructure development.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments for proposed projects.
