Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience, focused on municipal projects.
• Proven experience in roads, stormwater, and water/wastewater design.
• Strong knowledge of SA municipal planning frameworks and procurement processes.
• Excellent leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, feasibility studies, and detailed design of municipal civil projects.
• Manage project lifecycles from planning to construction supervision.
• Ensure compliance with SANS, bylaws, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee junior staff and mentor team members.
• Engage with municipal clients and stakeholders throughout development.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, and proposals.
• Manage budgets, resources, and schedules for on-time delivery.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
• Stay updated on civil engineering tech and best practices in Limpopo.
