Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead urban development projects from its Benoni office in Gauteng. You will design and oversee roads, water, sewer, and stormwater systems, manage budgets and schedules, and liaise with municipal departments and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in civil engineering, focused on urban development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning of civil infrastructure for urban development projects.
• Manage integration of roads, water, sewer and stormwater systems in new developments.
• Conduct site feasibility studies, impact assessments and regulatory compliance checks.
• Prepare engineering designs, tender documents and construction supervision plans.
• Coordinate with town planners, architects, environmental consultants and municipal departments.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and contractor performance.
