Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Information Security Officer to lead and evolve our cybersecurity program in a fully remote capacity. You will guide security controls, incident response, and compliance across the organization, shaping a proactive security posture.

In this remote role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across regions, mentor security practitioners, and drive improvements that safeguard data, systems, and customer trust in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT.
• 5+ years in information security with operational focus.
• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EPP, and vulnerability scanners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and maintain information security controls and technologies.
• Lead detection, investigation, and response to incidents and threats.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and remediation.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices.
