Job summary

Placements24 seeks an accomplished Information Security Manager to lead our security program in a fully remote capacity. This leadership role defines, implements, and manages enterprise security, guiding a distributed team and ensuring regulatory compliance across global operations.

You will drive risk management, incident response, and continuous improvement of security operations, while partnering with internal stakeholders and external security partners to bolster resilience and trust.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CISSP or CISM certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic information security roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a remote team of security professionals to maintain high performance.
• Oversee risk management, compliance programs (POPIA, GDPR) and audit processes.
• Direct security incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
• Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external security partners.

Education
