Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Information Security Analyst for a fully remote role. You will lead security strategy development, safeguard digital assets, and drive risk mitigation across multiple platforms and services.

The role requires 7+ years in information security, deep expertise in security operations, incident response, and threat analysis, plus strong communication and autonomous work abilities in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in information security, focusing on security operations, incident response, and threat analysis.
• Expertise in security architecture, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of security solutions and frameworks.
• Conduct threat intelligence analysis, vulnerability assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Develop and execute incident response plans for complex security events.
• Monitor security systems, analyze alerts, and investigate breaches with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and product teams to embed security best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security policies and procedures.
