Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote Information Security Manager to lead its cybersecurity efforts from anywhere. You will define, implement, and manage the company's information security strategy, overseeing risk management, compliance, and incident response across a distributed organization.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in information security with at least 3 years in leadership, deep knowledge of frameworks, and a track record of building secure programs with a remote team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful information security programs.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies.
• Experience with risk management, compliance, and incident response methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage a remote team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise-wide information security program and strategy.
• Oversee security operations, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Manage security risks through assessments, audits, and the implementation of appropriate controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering their growth and development.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to promote security best practices.
