Placements24 seeks a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer to lead operational excellence at our Mahikeng site. You will analyze complex production and logistics systems, design improvements, and drive cost reductions while boosting productivity and quality.

You will mentor junior engineers, apply lean and Six Sigma, manage large cross-functional projects, and champion data-driven decision making to sustain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of industrial engineering experience with a senior/lead track record.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and project management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and redesign of manufacturing processes, lines, and layouts.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for operational efficiency using lean/Six Sigma.
• Manage complex projects from conception to completion within scope, budget and time.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to operations staff.
• Use advanced data analytics, simulation, and modeling to quantify improvement opportunities.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and best practices to maintain competitive edge in Mahikeng.
