Job summary

Placements24 seeks a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer with a strong focus on Quality Assurance to join our Rustenburg operations. You will develop and implement quality control systems, analyze defect data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce non-conformities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product design and processes, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA).
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience with statistical software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures.
• Analyze production data to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve product design and manufacturing processes for quality.
• Manage and report on quality metrics , including defect rates and customer feedback.
• Oversee the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.
