Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering in manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma expertise; Black Belt preferred.
• Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and advanced data analysis.
• Strong leadership, project management, and change management skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Legally eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, and implementation of production process improvements to boost efficiency, throughput and quality.
• Conduct root cause analyses for production inefficiencies and apply corrective actions.
• Develop strategies for waste reduction, cost optimization, and cycle time improvement.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee new technologies and automation implementations in production.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions; document processes.
• Mentor junior industrial engineers and production staff.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and operations to ensure seamless product realization.
• Manage projects from conception to completion, delivering on time and budget.
• Monitor KPIs and report on production efficiency and improvement initiatives.
