Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial engineering with focus on facility layout, material handling, and logistics.
• Experience designing and optimizing manufacturing or warehouse layouts.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Experience with simulation software (Arena, FlexSim) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to facility design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of warehousing and inventory management principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize facility layouts to improve material flow, workspace utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement improved material handling systems and strategies.
• Analyze and optimize internal logistics processes, including receiving, storage, and internal movement of goods.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify facility layouts and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct simulation studies to evaluate the impact of layout and logistics changes.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to ensure layouts meet functional and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation in material handling and logistics operations.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for facility logistics and material flow.
• Support planning and execution of facility expansions or modifications.
• Contribute to cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives within facility layout and logistics.
