Job summary

PwC South Africa Technology and Innovation Centre (SATIC) seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Identity & Access Management practice. You will design, advise, implement and manage IAM solutions across AM, IGA, PAM, and Directory Services while guiding senior client stakeholders through complex transformation journeys.

You will drive the IAM managed service portfolio, recruit and mentor the team, and ensure high-quality delivery with strong governance. A hybrid UK/SA post-training model is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Advantageous)
• 8+ years IAM with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record with IGA tools (SailPoint, Saviynt)
• Experience with CyberArk PAM solutions
• Experience managing and overseeing managed service operations
• Strong knowledge of AM, IGA, PAM, LDAP, entitlement management, identity lifecycle
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Client-facing experience with senior stakeholders
• Certifications (CISSP, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk) desirable
• Experience with cloud IAM solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) and agile/DevOps familiarity
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the IAM team within SATIC
• Oversee IAM managed service support portfolio and SLAs
• Guide IAM engagements from strategy to delivery and assurance
• Provide expert IAM advisory, implementation and governance guidance
• Lead cross-functional client engagements with senior stakeholders
• Drive delivery of IAM capabilities across AM, IGA, PAM, and Directory Services
• Shape IAM strategy, roadmaps, and transformation programmes
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and business alignment
• Mentor and develop team talent and manage performance
• Support business development and cross-border collaboration
