The ideal candidate has a recognised HVAC qualification and at least five years' experience in large-scale environments, strong fault-finding skills, clean safety record, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Recognised HVAC qualification (trade test or equivalent strongly preferred).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC maintenance, ideally within hospitality or commercial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with refrigeration systems and energy-efficient HVAC solutions advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence essential.
• Contactable references required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain HVAC systems across the wine farm and hospitality facilities
• Conduct fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration units
• Manage installation, servicing, and optimisation of HVAC systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, energy efficiency, and environmental regulations
• Liaise with contractors and service providers for specialised repairs and projects
• Support hybrid energy systems (solar, generator, grid) where applicable
• Maintain accurate records of HVAC work, inspections, and compliance checks
• Provide technical support to other departments, ensuring minimal downtime of systems
• Assist with general lodge and property maintenance when required
