Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification (Red Seal or equivalent strongly preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within hospitality or commercial environments.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with hybrid energy systems (solar, generator, grid) advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence essential.
• Contactable references required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain electrical systems across the wine farm and hospitality facilities.
• Conduct fault‑finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on electrical installations.
• Manage and maintain lighting, power distribution, and backup systems.
• Support solar, generator, and hybrid energy systems where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers for specialised repairs and projects.
• Assist with general lodge and property maintenance when required.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Provide technical support to other departments and ensure minimal downtime of systems.
