Qualifications

• Relevant HVAC / Refrigeration qualification or recognised trade certification.
• Strong senior-level experience in HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Experience in hospitality or facilities management is advantageous.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid refrigerant handling certification recommended.
• Knowledge of health, safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and extraction systems.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure performance and efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Monitor system performance, energy consumption, and equipment condition.
• Respond to breakdowns, emergencies and urgent maintenance.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to junior HVAC technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, repairs and service activities.
• Assist with planning and implementation of HVAC installations, upgrades and refurbishments.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and external service providers as required.
