Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources initiatives for a prestigious luxury jewellery brand with Head Offices in Cape Town. You will oversee recruitment, KPI planning, training and development, policy creation, and staff management.

The successful candidate will optimise HR delivery, ensure compliance, and provide leadership within the HR department while partnering with business heads to ensure effective management of human capital in the retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management.
• 5-8 years HR generalist experience, 3 at managerial level.
• Experience in service or retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment and selection processes including job analyses and interview panels.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Lead payroll processes, contracts, documentation and compliance.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and training programs.
• Support performance management, appraisals and development plans.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance (WSP/EEP).
• Mentor HR staff and drive overall HR operations and reporting.
