Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Manager with a specialization in Employee Relations to lead our client’s HR function in Mahikeng. The role focuses on strategic ER initiatives, investigations, and policy implementation to foster a positive workplace culture.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree, 8+ years in HR with ER, strong knowledge of SA labor law, CCMA processes, and exceptional leadership and stakeholder management abilities. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field.
• 8+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
• Experience conducting complex investigations and resolving disputes.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law, CCMA processes, and Bargaining Council agreements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and mediation skills.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive employee relations strategies and programs.
• Manage and conduct workplace investigations into grievances, disciplinary matters, and policy violations.
• Provide expert guidance and support to management and employees on ER issues.
• Ensure compliance with all South African labor laws and internal HR policies.
• Develop and deliver training on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Contribute to the overall HR strategy, focusing on fostering a positive and engaged workforce.
