Placements24 is seeking a strategic and seasoned Senior HR Business Partner to support our client’s Benoni operations. You will partner with business leaders to shape organizational design, drive talent initiatives, and manage employee relations with a proactive, data-driven approach.

You will lead workforce planning, succession, and leadership development, collaborating with Centers of Excellence to deliver high-impact HR services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with HRBP experience.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive HR initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders on all HR matters.
• Lead talent management processes, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
• Manage complex employee relations issues.
• Develop and implement HR strategies to enhance engagement, performance, and retention.

About the Role

You will be instrumental in shaping organizational effectiveness, managing employee relations, and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders on all HR matters, including organizational design and change management.
• Lead talent management processes, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
• Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement HR strategies to enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.
• Analyze HR data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with COE's (Centers of Excellence) to deliver HR services effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience as an HR Business Partner.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive HR initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems and data analysis tools.
