Job summary

Career Custodians is seeking a Senior Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping department, ensuring top service levels and adherence to company policies. You will coordinate with Reservations, Front Office and Maintenance, drive staff development, and maintain budgetary controls while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Housekeeping/Hospitality and at least 2 years in a similar position, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably Opera

Qualifications

• Applicable tertiary qualification in Housekeeping/Hospitality.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same or similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook in particular).
• Opera experience advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Housekeeping Department in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate activities with other departments for timely service.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints and service issues.
• Ensure rooms and public areas meet highest cleanliness standards.
• Monitor stock, supplies and equipment; manage budgeting and reporting.
• Attend management meetings and support senior leaders as needed.
• Provide training and development for housekeeping staff.
• Maintain strict health, safety and quality standards.
