About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Senior Hotel Operations Manager to lead operations at their flagship property in Randburg. This executive role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving profitability, and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence within the Hospitality & Tourism sector. You will manage a large team, coordinate departments, and implement innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the hotel industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and facilities management.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial targets and operational goals.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of department managers and staff.
• Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding guest service and uphold brand standards.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue streams.
• Implement and maintain high standards of health, safety, and security across the property.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with a significant portion in operations leadership roles.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and driving operational performance.
• Extensive knowledge of all hotel departments and Hospitality & Tourism best practices.
• Strong financial management skills, including P&L responsibility and budgeting.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
