Placements24 is seeking a Senior Hospitality Operations Analyst to join a leading hospitality group. The role combines on-site analysis in Kimberley with substantial remote work, focusing on deep data-driven insights across hotel and tourism operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of analytics experience in hospitality, proficiency with Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI, and the ability to deliver actionable recommendations to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an analytical role, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL and data visualization tools.
• Experience with PMS and other hospitality software.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from PMS, POS, and guest feedback.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track key indicators.
• Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, efficiency, and costs.
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis for strategic decisions.
• Support implementation of new operational systems and technologies.
• Collaborate with department heads on data needs and challenges.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting for operations.
• Monitor industry best practices and recommend changes.
• Ensure data integrity across all reporting systems.
