Placements24 is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a global engineering firm in a fully remote capacity. You will lead geotechnical investigations, design foundations, slopes, tunnels and dams for international projects, while coordinating with teams across time zones.

The ideal candidate has a MSc/PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, 10+ years of progressive experience, and strong skills in numerical modeling (Plaxis, FLAC).

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• PE or CEng status desirable.
• 10+ years of progressive geotechnical experience.
• Experience with numerical modeling of geotechnical problems.
• Experience with international projects preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for international projects.
• Develop reports, interpret data, and provide recommendations.
• Use numerical modeling tools to assess ground behavior.
• Collaborate with global project teams across time zones.
• Ensure designs meet international standards and project requirements.
• Provide oversight and peer review of geotechnical work.
• Manage tasks within timelines and budgets in a remote setting.
• Support business development and client presentations.
• Offer remote expert advice during construction phases.
