You will plan investigations, analyze soil and rock data, and prepare geotechnical reports while collaborating with structural teams to ensure safe and compliant infrastructure across the Free State.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus.
• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical investigations and design experience.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• Proficiency with PLAXIS and GeoStudio.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise geotechnical investigations, including drilling and sampling.
• Analyze soil and rock data to assess site conditions and design foundations.
• Design earthworks, retaining structures, and slope stabilization.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and drawings.
• Provide on-site technical support to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with structural teams to integrate geotechnical solutions in Bloemfontein projects.
