Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with Geotechnics.
- Minimum 6 years of geotechnical investigation and design.
- Proficiency in Plaxis, GeoStudio or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics and engineering geology.
- Experience with geophysical surveys is a plus.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute geotechnical investigations, including site reconnaissance, drilling, and in-situ testing.
- Analyze soil and rock samples to determine engineering properties.
- Perform foundation design calculations for shallow and deep foundations (piles/rafts).
- Assess slope stability, seepage and settlement potential for earth structures and excavations.
- Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports with recommendations and design parameters.
- Collaborate with structural engineers and other disciplines to integrate geotechnical solutions.
