Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geophysics, Geology, or related earth science field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in seismic interpretation within the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency with industry-standard seismic interpretation software (Petrel, Hampson-Russell, Kingdom Suite).
• Strong understanding of seismic acquisition, processing, and attribute analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with sequence stratigraphy and structural geology is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed 2D and 3D seismic data interpretation to identify geological structures and potential hydrocarbon traps.
• Integrate seismic interpretations with well logs, core data, and regional geological studies.
• Generate and evaluate exploration and appraisal prospects, including volumetric and risk assessments.
• Utilize advanced seismic interpretation software and techniques for structural and stratigraphic analysis.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geologists, and other team members to build integrated subsurface models.
• Mentor junior geoscientists and contribute to the development of best practices in seismic interpretation.
