The ideal candidate holds a master's or PhD in Geophysics or related field, with at least six years' experience in geophysical exploration. Proficiency in Petrel, Kingdom Suite or HampsonRussell, and a strong analytical mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in geophysical exploration, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency with geophysical interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom Suite, HampsonRussell).
Solid understanding of seismic data acquisition, processing, and attribute analysis.
Experience with gravity and magnetic surveys.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Process and interpret seismic data (2D/3D) to identify geological structures and potential hydrocarbon accumulations.
Integrate geophysical data with geological, well log, and production data to build subsurface models.
Utilize geophysical software for data analysis, mapping, and visualization.
Contribute to planning and execution of geophysical surveys with data quality and efficiency.
Assess geological and geophysical risks for exploration prospects.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and exploration committees.
