Placements24 in Polokwane is seeking a Senior Geologist to join their exploration and development team. You will interpret geological data, build subsurface models, and provide insights to guide exploration strategies and field development.

Collaborate with reservoir engineers and geophysicists, prepare technical reports, stay current with geological technologies, and contribute to regional hydrocarbon assessments in the Oil & Gas sector.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Geology, Earth Science, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in geological interpretation and modeling within Oil & Gas.
Proficiency with Petrel and Kingdom Suite and data analysis techniques.
Strong understanding of structural geology, stratigraphy, and sedimentology.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Interpret geological data from seismic surveys, well logs, and cores to understand subsurface structures.
Develop and maintain 3D geological models for exploration and field development.
