Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Geologist in Cape Town to lead exploration initiatives and evaluate new hydrocarbon prospects. You will integrate geological, geophysical, and well data to build subsurface models and guide drilling decisions, working closely with reservoir engineers and geophysicists.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology or related Earth Science discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in oil and gas exploration geology.
• Expertise in sedimentary basin analysis and structural geology.
• Proficiency with geological modeling software (Petrel, GeoGraphix).
• Strong understanding of seismic interpretation and data integration techniques.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate complex geological concepts.
