Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud network infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. This role emphasizes secure VPC design, performance optimization, and seamless connectivity for hybrid architectures.

You will work with DevOps and SRE teams, leverage IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and apply best practices in network security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in network engineering, with 3+ years in cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and services.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is highly desirable.
• Proficient in network security, firewalls, and VPNs in cloud contexts.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure and high-performance VPCs and network resources.
• Configure and maintain cloud networking services, including load balancers, firewalls, and VPN gateways.
• Implement and manage connectivity between on‑premises data centers and cloud environments (hybrid cloud).
• Monitor cloud network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cost and efficiency.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and best practices in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to automate network provisioning and management.
