Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a globally distributed, fully remote team. You'll design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure to support all operations, ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance across cloud and on-prem environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in enterprise network design, expertise in BGP/OSPF, SD-WAN, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years in network engineering with enterprise design and management.
Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), switching, and network security.
Hands-on experience with cloud networking platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SD-WAN.
Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and remote-work collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments.
Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize speed, reliability, and scalability.
Ensure network security with protocols, IDS, and access controls.
Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Provide Tier 3 support for network incidents and collaborate with IT teams.
Stay updated on emerging network technologies and propose innovative improvements.
