Job summary

Bevco is seeking a Senior Financial Manager: FP&A to lead forecasting, planning and analysis. You will consolidate financial plans, manage FP&A workstreams, and develop processes to improve forecasting accuracy and cost governance.

The role requires extensive FMCG FP&A experience, CA(SA)/CIMA preferred, and a track record of leading teams and delivering strategic insights for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree in Financial Management or related disciplines (CA(SA) or CIMA preferred).
• Over 12 years of financial experience, with more than 5 years in FMCG FP&A.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in FMCG process development and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the synthesis and consolidation of financial plans, including the 3-Year Strategic Plan (PSP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly rolling forecasts, and weekly flash reports.
• Manage FP&A relations and workstreams, serving as the primary point of contact for financial planning and analysis matters.
• Develop and enhance FP&A processes and tools to improve financial forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial forecast deliverables.
• Oversee cost management, governance, and optimization for expenditure.
• Actively participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
• Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices, processes and systems.
• Ensure adherence to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls.
• Manage cost drivers and take necessary action to mitigate financial risk and address variances and discrepancies.
• Ensure right people capacity and manage performance through effective leadership.
