Job summary

BevCo in Gauteng seeks a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to lead costing, budgeting and financial governance across its beverage manufacturing operations. You will partner with plant management, engineering and procurement to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation and cost optimisation.

Responsibilities include standard costing, variance analysis, reporting, capital project evaluation and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Professional finance qualification or studying towards CIMA, CA(SA) or ACCA.
• Experience in manufacturing finance and costing preferred.
• ERP/ SAP experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve standard costing methodologies across manufacturing.
• Monitor material, labour, overhead costs and analyse cost drivers.
• Conduct variance analysis including material usage, labour efficiency and waste.
• Prepare weekly/ monthly manufacturing performance reports.
• Provide financial commentary for plant review meetings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure evaluations.
