Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage fixed asset and project accounting. The role oversees asset lifecycle, depreciation, and capitalisation in line with policy, while supervising accounts payable for building projects and SAP-based processes.

Required is a B.Com in Accounting/Finance with at least 5 years in corporate finance, including SAP FI/CO and Asset Accounting. Knowledge of BBBEE and strong governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance (required).
• Minimum 5 years in corporate finance.
• Experience in fixed asset accounting and project accounting.
• SAP ERP experience especially FI/CO and Asset Accounting modules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project accounting processes for Mediclinic building projects.
• Coordinate accounts payable for building projects, vendor onboarding, BBBEE compliance.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, policies and procedures, including assets under construction.
• Administer capital purchase orders and budget creation in the system.
• Provide financial control and reporting, monitor workflows, drive process standardisation.
• Ensure audit compliance and manage a team of staff.
