Job summary

CCG Systems is seeking an Fixed Assets Consultant to join the Eastern Cape branch. You will manage the full asset lifecycle using Sage and AMS360, ensuring accurate records, and delivering schedules and reports for month- and year-end closing.

Responsibilities include configuration of asset modules, data governance, audits, and client support with asset-tracking best practices. You will train users, demonstrate systems, and support upgrades to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Financial Accounting/Financial Information Systems or similar
• Project Management certification (added advantage)

Responsibilities

• Manage full fixed asset lifecycle in Sage (additions, disposals, transfers, impairments, depreciation).
• Configure and maintain Sage fixed asset modules to meet client requirements.
• Ensure asset records are accurate and aligned to financial reporting standards.
• Produce fixed asset schedules and financial reports for month- and year-end processes.
• Maintain AMS360 asset schedules with accurate insurance details.
• Reconcile Sage asset registers with AMS360 schedules.
• Assist clients with insurance renewal schedules, valuations, and asset lists.
• Identify gaps, missing assets, or duplicates and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze asset data to identify trends, discrepancies, and risks.
• Prepare custom asset reports using Sage and AMS360 reporting tools.
• Recommend improvements to asset workflows and system configurations.
• Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features.
• Help clients integrate asset data into financial and insurance processes.
• Work directly with clients to understand their asset-management processes.
• Advise on best practices for asset tracking and controls.
• Conduct system demonstrations, training sessions, and user support.
• Ensure asset processes comply with internal controls and audits.
• Prepare audit-ready asset documentation and reconciliations.

CCG Systems is an ICT sector and is well known to specialize in the implementation and support of ERP systems as well as Payroll & HR Systems to which our clients are made of mostly Municipalities throughout South Africa. Our company is looking for a potential candidate to join our Fixed Assets Team in the capacity of a Fixed Assets Consultant to be based at our Eastern Cape Branch.

The Assets Consultant is responsible for managing, analysing, and maintaining fixed asset data using Sage systems and AMS360. This role supports clients with asset accounting, asset lifecycle management, insurance schedule accuracy, system configuration, and reporting. The consultant ensures compliance, data integrity, and optimised system usage across both platforms.

Qualifications Required

• Degree/Diploma in Financial Accounting/Financial Information Systems or similar
• Project Management certification (added advantage)

• Passed credit and criminal checks
• S.A Citizen, Resident or Valid SA work Permit
